How to get to Füssen?
To make the journey from Munich to Füssen we use as a transport train. Trains depart from the Hauptbahnhof (central station) each approximately 1 hour and the trip takes 2 hours.
As our disposal ticket Interrail Global Pass / Eurail, and because it was a regional train (RE), we did not pay anything for the trip, nor had to make any reservations, it was enough to jump on the bandwagon and nothing more. In the case of not having a ticket Interrail / Eurail, you must pay a ticket for € 20.80. (If you want more information about using Pass Interrail / Eurail see previous post: Trains: InterRail – Eurail).

The ticket can be bought inside the airport in a sales window (the person who took care of us knew how to speak English fluently, and also people who attended the information office). You have to take the S1 or S8, and the name of the central train station in Munich’s Hauptbahnhof. The trip takes about 40 minutes, before boarding the train is necessary to validate the ticket, sealing the machines found on the platforms.
