Path of the Seven Lakes, Province of Neuquén, Argentina

The seven lakes road is a stretch of route 234 in the province of Neuquén, Argentina. It connects the towns of San Martín de los Andes and Villa La Angostura.

It has a distance of 107 km where the typical characteristics of the Patagonian Andes Cordillera region can see: forests, snow-capped mountains and lakes.

Major lakes that includes this way are:

  • Machónico
  • Hidden
  • Torrentoso
  • Mirror
  • Lácar
  • Falkner.
  • Villarino

But also other lakes taking deviations from the main road can be visited. They are: Melinquina, Hermoso, Traful and Espejo Chico.

This road passes through two national parks: Lanín and Nahuel Huapi
