Masegosa
Masegosa is a very small and picturesque village only 31 square kilometers and only 135 inhabitants, which has a rich landscape and fauna (deer, wild boar, deer and roe deer are examples). Located in the mountains of Cuenca in Castilla La Mancha, near the headwaters of the Rio Cuervo.

It is one of the highest spots in the area (1378 meters) and has a very favorable climate characterized by cold winters and summers not too hot.

Masegosa has a landscape of great beauty. Among the most attractive tourist sites are: karstic caves caving of great interest including: Caves of the Greeks, the Mosquito, the Smith Head of the Cerrillo, Sima de la Tomasa, pine forests with an abundance mushrooms of various kinds, or more specifically robellóns chanterelles, Boletus edulis and the oyster mushrooms.

From the architectural Masegosa mountain, one of the most important is the Church of Santa Ana, a single nave with Latin cross plan.

Among the traditional festivals highlighting the Festivities of Our Lady of the Rosary to be held on the last Sunday in October, the Feast of Judas at Easter, the Mayos of the April 30 and the festivities of the holiday makers in mid-August.

Adventure sports have in Masegosa an ideal place to practice them. Hiking, mountaineering, paragliding and climbing in places Torcas slabs and are some examples of what can be done in this wonderful place.
