Arriving by plane:
Flights to Madrid Barajas airport arrive, which has 4 terminals: T1, T2, T3 and T4.
If you do not have much luggage, or want to get to downtown in the cheapest way possible, without doubt the best is to take the metro. In the case of T1, T2 and T3 for the metro (which is within the airport itself) is “Aeropuerto T1-T2-T3.” For T4, the metro stop is “Aeropuerto T4″ and is a few meters from the arrivals gate, within the airport itself. Line 8 is coming to the airport.
The cost of single ticket is 1 €, but from being inside the airport must pay an additional 1 €, ie in total pay 2 €.
Arriving by train:
The two major railway stations in the city of Madrid is Atocha and Chamartin. The first is located just south of downtown but within walking distance to Sun without problems. If you want other means of transportation, the subway line that passes through Atocha is line 1.
Chamartin station north of the city, but also just minutes from downtown, which can be reached by lines 1 or 10, since both pass through the station.
