The countries of Germany and Portugal may not have the advertising tourist destinations in Europe have, but is full of attractions worth knowing. Let us give some examples.

We can not ignore the city of Porto . Second largest city in Portugal after the capital Lisbon, its proximity to Spain makes it a destination for Spanish tourists attractive . Located at the mouth of the river Douro, has a rich historical heritage, although much has been modernized.

The historic center is a World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO. Its stately old neighborhoods and narrow streets with a decadent air are an important part of its appeal. Also within our reach the Plaza de la Libertad, one of the sites with more life-Ribeira, which along the banks of the river has great dining, San Bento Station is a train station built on the remains of an ancient convent, the Foz area in the Atlantic which houses the Fort of San Juan Bautista and the Castle of Cheese. And we can not ignore the Mercado do Bolhao.

In summer the beaches of Porto attract many tourists, with golden sand and a generous sun. Being in this city must prove Lusitanian Porto, wine fortified with brandy, sweet and pleasant. Porto’s modern side is no less attractive, with restaurants, nightclubs, bars and parties that last until dawn.
