The countries of Germany and Portugal may not have the advertising tourist destinations in Europe have, but is full of attractions worth knowing. Let us give some examples.

In Germany we have the city of Dusseldorf , a major cultural and commercial center. It is crossed by the river Rhine Headquarters numerous shops and various service companies, is probably the most cosmopolitan city Germanic. Is a well known luxury Königsallee, with exclusive shops of top brands.

It is also fair to mention the old part of downtown, with its beautiful cobblestone streets and more than 260 pubs (which make their own beer) and restaurants and theaters (mainly Kammerspiele) and concert halls (such as the Opera of the Rhine ) where cultural events are held permanently.
Did someone say museums? Yes, the day Dusseldorf travel to the Museum will welcome Kunst Palast, full of paintings, sculptures and a collection of more than 70,000 graphics and photos. Then there are the Goethe Museum, the K20/K21 (the most important modern art in Germany), the German Museum of Ceramics, the Aquazoo-Löbbecke (at the same time is a zoo) or the Film Museum, among others.
City Hall is worth a visit, and the baroque church St. Andreas or the basilica St Lambertus. Do not forget the Imperial Palace of Barbarossa in Kaiserswerth. Also in Dusseldorf was founded the Academy of Fine Arts in Europe’s oldest (dating back to 1773). Benrath Palace (built in the eighteenth century) is a magnificent work, surrounded by a beautiful forest.
The Düsseldorf carnival is a fabulous party , held between February 11 and between Ash Wednesday and other finery includes more than 600 shows. Best of all is that this German city provides us with many offers of accommodation from the most luxurious to other very affordable.
Dusseldorf addition has a significant film industry and artistic vanguard. Only recently has hosted the 2011 Eurovision Music Festival, an event televised very popular in Europe every year.
We can not ignore the city of Porto . Second largest city in Portugal after the capital Lisbon, its proximity to Spain makes it a destination for Spanish tourists attractive . Located at the mouth of the river Douro, has a rich historical heritage, although much has been modernized.
The historic center is a World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO. Its stately old neighborhoods and narrow streets with a decadent air are an important part of its appeal. We can visit on our trip to Porto Clerics Tower where you can get excellent views of the city, the Cathedral of the Cathedral is the most important religious building, the House of Music, the Crystal Palace Gardens ideal for relaxing, Casa do Infante birthplace of Henry the Navigator.
Also within our reach the Plaza de la Libertad, one of the sites with more life-Ribeira, which along the banks of the river has great dining, San Bento Station is a train station built on the remains of an ancient convent, the Foz area in the Atlantic which houses the Fort of San Juan Bautista and the Castle of Cheese. And we can not ignore the Mercado do Bolhao.
In summer the beaches of Porto attract many tourists, with golden sand and a generous sun. Being in this city must prove Lusitanian Porto, wine fortified with brandy, sweet and pleasant. Porto’s modern side is no less attractive, with restaurants, nightclubs, bars and parties that last until dawn.
